5/10/2015 9:29 PM | For whatever unknown reason, the old game did not use the letter Y at all, which was kind of odd.
So after much clamoring, they have been added to the new game, which is fine.
But does anyone else think there are too many of them?
Note that the relative frequency of the letters is not equal,
and completely controlled by the game software.
X hardly comes up at all, similarly for Q, Z, J, and the other less common ones,
(which is a GOOD thing!), but Y seems to pop up quite a bit.
They are not that easy to fit in with a rather limited number of words available.
Common words are: You, Yes, Yellow, Yesterday, Yell.
Less common words are: Yuck, Yodel, Yugoslavia.
And while of course there are others, very few of them
are all that useful to writing good acros.
So how about just cutting back on the Y's some ?
