During normal game play, suddenly the Lobby Screen appears.
Depending on the timing various things can happen then:
a) you click the Room button and Join game and
get back in the game. You still have your earlier points.
b) Voting starts and you get a voting screen automatically,
you vote and the game continues as if nothing happened.
In both cases, even though the Lobby is displayed,
it seems you didn't really "leave" the room - the
players' scores are still there and when you resume
playing you kept your existing score.
Following those two events, the game eventually just
locked up completely and stopped responding. After a
short time it was possible to refresh the page and
login again - at which point it was clear everyone had
been booted similarly at the same time.
